Special Education Teacher - Surprise, Arizona

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Arizona Special Education teaching certificate required
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card mandatory
- Experience supporting high school-aged learners is preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, differentiated instruction, and student advocacy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structured small group and individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners with disabilities
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and compliance tasks
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom culture that builds student confidence and promotes learning
