Special Education Teacher - Surprise, Arizona

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Arizona Special Education teaching certificate required
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card mandatory
• Experience supporting high school-aged learners is preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs, differentiated instruction, and student advocacy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide structured small group and individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners with disabilities
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and compliance tasks
