Hiring 1:1 School Nurse
Location: Seattle, WA
Contract Position
Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated School Nurse for a 1:1 student support role in Seattle, Washington. This position provides health-related support for a medically stable student during the school day in a school-based setting. The student is highly independent and does not require constant hands-on medical care, but does require monitoring and intermittent nursing support to ensure safety and adherence to their care plan.
Job Details:
Schedule: Full-Time hours during school schedule
Setting: 1:1 student support within a school environment
Student Profile: Medically stable student requiring intermittent nursing oversight
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor student throughout the school day to ensure health and safety
Provide emergency tracheostomy care if needed
Perform occasional suctioning during mealtimes as required by care plan
Support use of Passy-Muir valve
Provide PRN intermittent humidification per care plan
Assist school nurse with light administrative duties when student care allows
Ensure all administrative tasks do not interfere with student supervision or medical needs
Job Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (Required)
Experience with tracheostomy care and/or pediatric school nursing preferred
Comfort providing G-tube and airway support in school settings
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow individualized care plans
Ability to remain attentive and responsive throughout the school day

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.71 to $53.71. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
