Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota (MN) teaching license required
  • Proven experience teaching in special education settings (autism spectrum disorder, developmental cognitive disabilities, early childhood special education, or homebound education)
  • Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work onsite only at designated school campuses or as an itinerant/homebound instructor
  • Commitment to individualized instruction and a student-first mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly provide specialized instruction in one of the following: Autism (elementary and secondary), Early Childhood Special Education, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, or Homebound Services
  • Maintain and manage a personal caseload ranging from 4 to 19 students, depending on assignment
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state standards
  • Collaborate with support staff, classroom teachers, and families to ensure cohesive, student-centered support
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and required reporting
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ unique needs

This full-time contract (37.5 hours/week) is ideal for educators passionate about fostering growth and providing individualized support. Each role is onsite only—remote or virtual work is not available.
