Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate, with both Special and General Education Endorsements appropriate for Pre-K
• Experience working with children in Special Education settings, particularly ages 3-5
• Familiarity with supporting children who are non-verbal or have limited verbal abilities
• Skilled in managing behaviors positively and collaboratively
• Comfortable with direct care, including assisting with feeding and toilet training/diapering
• Strong communication abilities to partner with staff and families

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Pre-K standards
• Create a supportive classroom environment for students with a wide range of needs and abilities
• Assist in daily living skills, including feeding, toilet training, and attending to self-care needs
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to promote communication, socialization, and positive behaviors
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to maximize student growth
• Monitor, document, and report on each child’s progress

This full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week) runs through May 21st, 2027, offering a meaningful opportunity to build lasting foundational skills for your students.
