Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education certificate
• Current (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience working in high school special education settings is a plus
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and support to high school students in resource classrooms
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and educational goals
• Monitor, assess, and document students’ progress regularly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school counselors, and support staff to ensure successful student outcomes
• Communicate proactively with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Participate in professional development activities and stay current on best practices in special education
