Key Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications for students with disabilities in a resource setting
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture
  • Advocate for students and help empower them to achieve their goals

This is a fulfilling contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour workdays.
