This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support students through individualized instruction and promote academic, social, and emotional growth within a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications for students with disabilities in a resource setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture
- Advocate for students and help empower them to achieve their goals
This is a fulfilling contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour workdays.
