Bilingual Therapies is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to support students across K–12 programs in New Britain, Connecticut. These full-time, onsite opportunities are available for educators with strong school-based experience and an active Connecticut Special Education license and certification. Multiple program settings are available, including multiple disabilities, autism, and inclusion.

Position Details

  • Full-time position

  • 35 hours per week

  • ASAP start date

  • Contract through June 11, 2027

  • Multiple openings available

  • K–12 student population

  • Onsite school-based position

  • Zoom interview

Program Opportunities

  • Inclusion: Supporting students in general education settings

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction and support based on individual student needs.

  • Develop and implement appropriate instructional strategies and accommodations.

  • Monitor student progress and contribute to IEP development and implementation.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and other school staff.

  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Connecticut Special Education license and certification required.

  • Strong school-based Special Education experience required.

  • K–12 experience welcomed.

Work Hours & Industry

  • 35 hours per week
