As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Indiana teaching license in Special Education (proof required with application)
• Demonstrate experience or strong interest in working with students with mild disabilities
• Thrive in self-contained classroom settings
• Possess strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Display flexibility and a positive, collaborative attitude within a school community

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support for students with mild disabilities to meet IEP goals
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to address students’ varied academic levels and learning styles
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate, timely records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment
