Special Education Teacher - Litchfield Park, AZ

This full-time, contract position is designed for a Special Education Teacher who thrives in collaborative environments and desires to make a genuine impact. You'll work in a Sales classroom at a middle school serving 6th to 8th grade students, providing instruction and support tailored to their unique learning needs. The position is onsite with the potential for virtual/online opportunities, and the assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for Arizona (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience teaching students with intermediate disabilities preferred
• Comfortable working with middle school learners (6th-8th grade)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles and needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction within a Sales classroom environment
• Support academic, social, and emotional growth for students with intermediate disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, documenting student progress and adjusting approaches as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate that encourages student engagement and confidence
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for success
