This contract opportunity places you in a full-time role within a Pre-K Special Education program for the 2026-2027 school year, offering a chance to shape growth during one of the most formative educational stages. Work with a dedicated community of educators and help students aged 3-5 overcome challenges and achieve developmental milestones.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate, with both Special Education and General Education Endorsements for Pre-K
• Experience or strong interest in early childhood special education
• Comfort with assisting students in activities of daily living, including feeding and toilet training/diapering
• Ability to foster communication in students who are non-verbal or have limited verbal ability
• Patience and creativity in managing classroom behaviors and adapting to diverse needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to pre-K students with varying abilities
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and daily routines as needed to support development and independence
• Implement behavior management techniques and support students’ communication needs
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with the team
• Engage families and support staff in implementing strategies for success
• Track student progress and adjust approaches as needed
