Special Education Teacher | Hephzibah, Georgia

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a full-time IRR Teacher, working onsite with a dedicated caseload of 15–18 students. Role Details:

• Contract position: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
• Assignment dates: ASAP start through 5/26/2027
• Onsite only—located at a middle school in the greater Harlem area

Qualifications:

• Active GaPSC Certification or Georgia General SPED Certification (or similar)
• Prior experience in a school-based special education setting
• Solid skills in classroom management, IEP support, and collaboration with educational teams
• Ability to provide comprehensive documentation and maintain compliance with special education laws
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite attendance
• Full-time availability without significant scheduling conflicts

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction, modifications, and accommodations to meet a diverse set of learning needs
• Coordinate and participate in IEP meetings, tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Foster a supportive, structured classroom climate to encourage academic growth
• Work in partnership with teachers, families, and support personnel
