Special Education Teacher in Green Bay, WI

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification for Special Education
• Previous teaching experience in a K-12 environment highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to develop and implement individualized student plans
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of personalized education plans
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and motivating classroom environment
• Encourage social, emotional, academic, and behavioral growth
