Special Education Teacher - Evans, Georgia

A rewarding opportunity is available for an IRR Teacher to provide meaningful, onsite instruction for a caseload of 15–18 students. This full-time contract position starts immediately and continues through May 2027, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact over multiple academic years.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold active GaPSC Certification or equivalent Georgia General SPED credentials
- Demonstrated experience delivering specialized instruction in school-based special education settings
- Strong track record collaborating closely with general education colleagues to support diverse learners
- Skilled in implementing IEPs, case management, and documenting student progress
- Effective classroom management and communication abilities
- Full-time onsite availability, Monday through Friday
- Dependable transportation for consistent attendance
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all learners are supported
- Collaborate regularly with the general education team to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented
- Maintain clear, accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reviews
- Support social, emotional, and academic growth for each student within your caseload
- Communicate professionally with families, colleagues, and administration
