Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid low-incidence special education teaching license required and must be active upon application submission
• Previous classroom experience supporting students with significant cognitive or physical disabilities strongly preferred
• Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Dedication to fostering confidence, independence, and participation in all students
• Availability to work onsite (in-person), virtual options are not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and tailored interventions to a diverse group of learners with significant disabilities
• Maintain and manage a caseload of approximately 10 students, ensuring all IEP goals are actively pursued
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with each student’s strengths and needs
• Monitor and track student progress with detailed documentation
• Collaborate regularly with other educators, therapists, and administrators to deliver holistic support
• Effectively communicate with families to foster ongoing engagement and partnership
• Create an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment
