Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate
• Special and General Education Endorsements covering Pre-K age groups are required
• Experience supporting children ages 3-5, especially those who are non-verbal or have low verbal skills, is highly desired
• Familiarity and comfort with assisting in toileting/diapering and feeding support
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying abilities
• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living skills, including toilet training, diapering, and feeding
• Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment to promote communication, social, and emotional growth
• Employ effective behavioral strategies and support positive student behaviors
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and collaborate closely with other educators and families
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
