Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education required
  • Experience working with autism spectrum disorders, developmental cognitive disabilities, or providing itinerant/homebound services preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families
  • Proven ability to adapt instruction and interventions to diverse learning needs
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative school team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction for students in assigned settings (Autism, ECSE, homebound, etc.)
  • Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with federal, state, and district standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and communication with stakeholders
  • Employ evidence-based behavioral and instructional strategies
  • Foster an inclusive, safe classroom environment that promotes student achievement and well-being
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development as required
