Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina teaching license is mandatory
• Possession of both Special Education and Early Childhood degree/certification for EC PCD (3-4yo) position
• SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for K-3rd and high school self-contained classrooms
• Previous teaching experience in self-contained or special education settings preferred
• Strong commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Create and maintain safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environments
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Deliver instruction aligned with both general and special education curriculums
• Track progress, conduct assessments, and document student performance
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development activities
