Social Worker | Clarksburg, Maryland

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple educational sites in Frederick, MD. This contract opportunity offers the chance to serve as an itinerant therapist, working centrally from the district’s main office while traveling to several locations as needed. The assignment spans from December 1 through June 4, providing a full-time, 8:00-3:00 schedule. You’ll play a vital role in student well-being, collaborating with educational leaders and families to promote academic and emotional success.

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) with active credentials in Maryland
• Proven experience in school-based or pediatric mental health settings
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing inclusive, equitable, and trauma-informed care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct counseling services to K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Consult with school teams, families, and community service providers to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school district protocols
• Serve as a vital resource for crisis intervention, problem-solving, and support planning
• Travel between multiple school sites under a central office assignment
