Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | K -12
Bilingual Therapies is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based contract position in Ontario, CA. Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services
- Work with students on communication goals outlined in IEPs
- Implement therapy activities and reinforce skills introduced by the SLP
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support carryover of communication strategies in the classroom
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student success
Qualifications
- Degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field (Required)
- Passion for working with students and supporting communication development
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Fingerprinting required
