Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Florida Department of Health SLPA license, current and in good standing
- Experience or training in school-based settings highly valued
- Willingness to work across multiple campuses, collaborating with district teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage caseloads of 50-55 students
- Familiarity with the fingerprinting process and credentialing requirements in Florida schools (AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge procedures)
Your Role Will Involve:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students under SLP supervision
- Assisting with screenings, documentation, and administrative tasks related to each student’s speech therapy plan
- Supporting implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating closely with multilingual and multidisciplinary school staff and families
- Flexibly adapting to assignments at a variety of campuses to meet students’ needs and maximize your hours
