This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students of all ages—assignments are available at elementary, middle, and high school levels, with exact school sites to be determined. The contract runs the full 185-day academic calendar, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in Virginia
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage diverse caseloads
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery (no telepractice or hybrid options available)
  • Must complete a Virginia Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test promptly upon hire

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students in assigned school(s)
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and develop tailored goals
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
  • Collect data and maintain detailed records on student progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment for students of all ages and abilities
