School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Warwick, Rhode Island

This assignment offers the chance to work with students across a range of grade levels and backgrounds within a supportive, collaborative educational environment.
Highlights of this role:
- Full-time contract position running through June 2027, Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
- Manage a targeted caseload of approximately 60 students, with flexibility depending on assignment needs
- Multiple service tracks available, including PK–12 mixed caseload, Early Childhood/Preschool, or Bilingual student support
- Contribute within a dynamic community where more than half of the students speak multiple languages at home
To thrive in this opportunity, candidates should bring:
- Active or eligible Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) PK-12 SLP Certification
- ASHA CCCs required; SLPAs or CFY candidates cannot be considered for this contract
- Demonstrated experience delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, and maintaining documentation in school-based settings
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and assistive technology, including setup and management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with families and classroom teachers
Key daily responsibilities include:
- Direct therapeutic services and evaluations for students PK–12
- Managing technology, including AAC and assistive devices
- Timely completion of paperwork and progress reports
- Advising parents and working closely with educational teams to support student learning
