Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Warren, MI
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to supporting students’ communication development in a school-based environment. In this position, you’ll work onsite with one student who receives speech-language services in a unique setting. The role requires 3 to 5 hours of service per week, giving you the flexibility to balance your professional commitments while having a lasting impact on a student’s growth.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other educators
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to one student according to the individualized plan
- Conduct assessments and coordinate progress monitoring
- Develop and implement tailored interventions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress
- Communicate effectively with support staff, educators, and the student’s family
- Collaborate in meetings when required to ensure the student’s progress
