Key Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP licensure (required)
  • Experience or strong interest in K-12 school-based speech-language pathology
  • Flexibility to work with various age groups and disabilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to complete immediate credentialing, including a VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and intervention strategies in collaboration with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and documentation as required by state and district policies
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams and support student progress toward academic and speech goals
  • Adapt services as needed to address caseload and grade-level diversity
