School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Toccoa, Georgia
Step into a rewarding school-based speech-language pathology role, servicing students in grades K–5 in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms. Located close to both Habersham and Toccoa, GA, this contract opportunity offers the chance to create measurable change while working alongside a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team. The position is available immediately through the end of the current school year, with the option to extend into the 2025–2026 academic year.
What You'll Bring:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain/verify)
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
- Experience working in school settings or with ASD/severe needs is a plus
- Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Reliable transportation for onsite responsibilities
- Ability to participate fully onsite (virtual is not an option)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver impactful speech therapy services to K–5 students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and thorough documentation
- Complete Medicaid billing as required
- Contribute expertise to support student growth and success
