Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Pathology license issued by the state of New Mexico and the department of education
• Experience or eligibility as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
• Background working in school settings supporting a diverse K-12 caseload
• Ability to provide onsite services 35 hours per week
• Commitment to collaborative problem-solving and student advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in the K-12 age range
• Facilitate communication between families, staff, and school teams
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes as required by district and state guidelines
• Assist in the evaluation, planning, and delivery of speech and language services in accordance with IEP goals
