Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain before starting
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet varied student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapeutic intervention in individual and group settings
  • Track and document student progress, regularly updating teachers and families
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing supportive learning environments
  • Educate staff and families about speech and language development strategies
