Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Previous experience in school settings is strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to a diverse, multilingual student population
  • Maintain clear, thorough records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress notes
  • Communicate progress and strategies with teachers, staff, and caregivers
  • Consult with educators and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Adapt therapy techniques to fit both in-person and virtual delivery as needed
