Step into a vital role supporting early childhood special education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment based near Saint Paul, MN. This opportunity involves providing leave coverage for an ECSE SLP, delivering essential services to students for the remainder of the school year with possible summer evaluations. Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid SLP licensure for practice in Minnesota
• Experience in a school-based or early childhood education setting
• Competence in evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation for students aged birth to five
• Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, student-centered environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services addressing communication, speech, and language needs of early childhood students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and staff
• Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Complete timely documentation, progress reports, and maintain compliance with school and district policies
• Provide guidance and strategies to teachers and parents to support student progress
• Participate in any summer evaluations as needed
