Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active New Mexico state SLP license and NMPED Teacher Certification (required)
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) holders
• Solid understanding of school-based SLP services and IEP process
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with students, educators, and families

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech, language, and social communication therapy to middle school students
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
• Use evidence-based practices to address students’ pragmatic language and social communication needs
• Work closely with educational teams to support students’ classroom participation and social success
• Maintain regular documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school and state policies
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
