Shape young learners’ communication skills while supporting a local elementary caseload in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, contract-based speech-language pathologist assignment runs from now through June 25, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule: 8:15AM–3:15PM, totaling 35 hours weekly. The position calls for a committed SLP-CCC professional who is ready to provide both individual and group services on-site.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey SLP license (CCC required)
- Demonstrated experience with school-aged students, preferably at the elementary level
- Ability to manage a full elementary caseload independently
- Capable of completing thorough assessments, evaluations, and testing (must supply your own testing materials)
- At ease navigating school district requirements and protocols
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to caseload management
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute comfortably within the area
- Willingness to undergo onboarding: TB screening, physical, and fingerprint checks for both agency and district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students, adhering to IEPs and district guidelines
- Conduct comprehensive testing, evaluations, and progress assessments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ individual needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports for compliance
- Participate in case conferences and IEP meetings as required
