Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - New Oxford, PA
Discover a fulfilling contract opportunity in the New Oxford, PA area providing direct speech-language pathology services to K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports multiple campuses and grade levels, enriching the lives of students with various learning, life skills, and support needs.
In this position, you will:
- Deliver on-site speech-language services to assigned elementary, middle, and high schools (no teletherapy).
- Serve caseloads of approximately 50-55 students in regular education and autistic support at the elementary level, including some case management.
- Work with secondary (middle/high school) students requiring learning support, life skills, and autistic support, maintaining a caseload of about 60; most students are on reduced service delivery and require minimal case management.
- Collaborate closely with educators, paraprofessionals, and families to support student communication goals.
- Accurately document evaluations, service delivery, student progress, and compliance with all regulations.
- Engage in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning as needed.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification and Teaching Certification (must be submitted with resume).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in K-12 schools, including support for regular education and special needs populations.
- Strong communication, organization, and caseload management skills.
- Availability for onsite work only (virtual not offered) across the district from August 18, 2026, to May 27, 2027.
- Commitment to a 35-hour workweek for the entire school year.
