School Speech Language Pathologist - Meriden, CT

Key Details:

• Full-time, onsite roles (35 hours/week)
• Two openings:
  • First leave: Late September through mid-December
  • Second leave: Mid-November through early January
• Serve K-12 populations with diverse language and communication needs
• CCC credentials are required (no SLPAs for these assignments)
• Active Connecticut SLP license needed
• Prior school-based SLP experience required
• District fingerprinting and background check mandatory
• Upfront licensing information will expedite consideration
• Interviews conducted via Zoom for your convenience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with a range of needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create supportive learning environments
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with district guidelines

Ideal Experience & Qualifications:

• CCC-SLP certification
• Demonstrated success in a school setting, working with K-12 students
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and caseloads
