Ideal candidates will possess:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellow (CF), or SLP-Assistant (SLPA) eligibility
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering student progress and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students onsite
- Conducting evaluations, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining thorough records in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Collaborating closely with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student success
- Supporting students through individual and group therapy sessions tailored to their unique needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and ongoing interdisciplinary communication to track and report progress
