This essential backfill role supports learning and communication outcomes for students during the academic year. The position is onsite only, offering consistent work hours from 9am to 4:40pm, Monday through Friday, spanning from late August through the end of May.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but open to recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and development
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels (exact caseload/school to be determined)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain timely, compliant records
- Participate in school meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
