Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. This assignment, near Lawrence, Massachusetts, provides the chance to make a meaningful impact covering a maternity leave from November 2026 through March 2027. Work Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 2:33 pm, totaling 34 hours weekly. You'll focus your expertise at a single elementary school, collaborating with an SLPA who is already supporting students on the caseload.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
  • Eligibility for or possession of a valid license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Please note: Candidates will not be considered for Clinical Fellowship supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations for elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Maintain clear, ongoing documentation and progress reporting
  • Consult with educators and participate in student support meetings
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to address diverse student needs
  • Support and supervise SLPA as needed within the caseload
