School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Keller, Texas

Two dedicated SLPs are needed for contract positions running through late May 2027. In this district-wide opportunity, you'll provide vital speech and language services, support student communication goals, and play a key part in an interdisciplinary educational team. Candidates with supervisory experience or an interest in supporting SLP Assistants are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor SLP Assistants onsite preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload across multiple schools (K-12; specific assignments to be determined)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student progress
- Supervise and provide guidance to SLP Assistants (SLPAs) within the district, as needed
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements
- Contribute to team meetings and the overall development of communication programs
