Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure required
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Commitment to supporting a variety of students from diverse backgrounds
- Must initiate Virginia Department of Social Services background check immediately
- Completion of a recent TB test, per Virginia state requirements
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy to students per IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and update treatment plans in collaboration with team members
- Consult and communicate effectively with families, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain all required documentation and reports in a timely, confidential manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings throughout the school year
- Flexibility to adapt to caseloads at any school grade level
This full-time, 185-day contract offers a consistent schedule with 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a sustained impact throughout the academic year. On-site services are essential; no virtual or hybrid options are available.
