Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Eden Prairie, MN
Make a meaningful impact supporting early learners as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment near Eden Prairie, MN. This opportunity offers a chance to provide essential speech and language services within a vibrant educational setting for the remainder of the school year and possibly support summer evaluations.
This role is focused on leave coverage for the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) SLP, providing direct onsite support for students. Experienced SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a passion for working in school environments will thrive in this collaborative, student-centered atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Minnesota SLP license and ASHA CCC required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to support varying caseload needs
- Ability to provide services onsite (remote work not available for this role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for early childhood students as leave coverage
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines
- May participate in summer evaluations as needed
