Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Dumfries, VA

This full-time contract role is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in dynamic school settings and are ready to begin making an impact for the 2026-2027 academic year.

You’ll enjoy the diversity of working across multiple campuses—elementary, middle, or high school placements are available—with varied age groups. Assignments will be determined to best fit your strengths and interests, ensuring a meaningful and engaging experience throughout your 185-day contract (August 3, 2026 – May 27, 2027), with 37.5 hours per week on-site.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and current Speech-Language Pathology license for Virginia.
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued.
• Comfortable working across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
• Able to initiate the VA Department of Social Services background check process immediately.
• Willingness to obtain a current VA TB test before the start date.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs.
• Maintain documentation and share progress with students, families, and educational teams.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for individualized student plans.
