Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Florida SLP license (CCC preferred; CFs encouraged to apply)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience highly desirable
  • Competency working with severe-profound student populations and proficiency in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct SLP therapy services in accordance with IEPs and state guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and auxiliary staff to foster an inclusive, communicative environment
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the goal-setting process
  • Deliver services across varied settings: elementary, middle, and high school campuses
  • Adapt treatment plans to address a broad spectrum of speech and language needs
