In this contract opportunity, you’ll work closely with a select caseload, ensuring that each student receives the personalized attention and strategies they need to thrive.
Your primary focus will be on students with selective mutism, providing both direct therapy and consultation. You’ll play a pivotal role in the educational journey of these students, collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support individualized education goals within a flexible, manageable weekly schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active New Hampshire SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven history supporting students in school-based environments
- Experience working with children diagnosed with selective mutism
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Ability to work independently, managing both therapy and administrative tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students on a dedicated caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Conduct regular documentation and contribute to team meetings as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers and families to ensure carry-over of strategies and consistency of care
- Remain up to date with best practices in the field and abide by all relevant district and state requirements
