Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Genuine passion for helping children overcome communication challenges
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement therapy programs tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct intervention services in individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation of progress and services provided
- Offer guidance and in-service training to school staff as needed
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
