Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license (submit documentation with application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience delivering speech therapy in school settings, ideally serving bilingual populations
- Must successfully pass a drug screening and comprehensive background (CORI) check, including fingerprinting
- Dependable transportation to ensure punctual onsite presence
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to timely attendance and professional collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct speech-language interventions and support within school settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support educational outcomes
- Keep accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Proactively communicate any absences or illness per school protocol
