Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Alabaster, AL

Ideal candidates have demonstrated skill and experience providing speech-language services within K-12 settings and hold both their SLP Cert (in Alabama) and SLP Educator certification. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, your role will focus on implementing effective interventions, developing individualized plans, and ensuring progress for a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP Cert in AL)
• Alabama SLP Educator Cert and completed fingerprinting
• ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Recent school-based SLP or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
• Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations (preschool through high school) as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students (onsite only)
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports for student files
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support overall educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student support strategies
