Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
• Experience working with students with disabilities, especially in adaptive classroom settings
• Comfortable providing comprehensive communication support for students in wheelchairs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver real-time interpreting services for a high school student within their classroom, ensuring all educational content and peer interactions are accessible

• Serve as an active member of the student’s educational team, participating in meetings and supporting Individualized Education Program (IEP) implementation
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards as outlined by national and state interpreting organizations
