This full-time role spans the academic year from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, serving 37.5 hours per week. You will play a vital part in supporting two D/HH students at JFK Elementary, ensuring consistent access and understanding in both classroom dialogue and school activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in Kansas
  • Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English
  • Ability to accurately interpret in a variety of educational settings while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality protocols and adherence to ethical standards
  • Experience supporting Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals, preferably in a school environment
