Qualifications:

• National Certification in Music Therapy
• Familiarity with assessment protocols for students with disabilities
• Strong grasp of strategies and adaptive equipment for music therapy
• Experience supporting students’ IEP goals and working with ARD Committees
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Awareness of interventions for students with autism and developmental disabilities
• Ability to pass district fingerprint/background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging individual and group music therapy services for students across assigned campuses
• Collaborate on IEP goals, evaluate progress, and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Design and adapt music-related materials/tools for classroom and student needs
• Consistently assess and track student eligibility and outcomes, maintaining thorough documentation
• Consult and train staff, parents, and administrators in music therapy strategies
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
• Support program evaluation and help select resources for music therapy
• Uphold school policies, participate in professional growth activities, and complete required reports
