School Psychologist - Paterson, NJ

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a School Psychologist during a maternity leave coverage from October 30th to June 24th. This role offers the chance to make a real difference with a caseload of approximately 70-80 students in grades 5 through 8. You’ll play an integral part in providing vital testing and counseling services, helping young learners thrive both academically and emotionally.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working within a school setting, ideally with middle school students
• Expertise in delivering psychoeducational assessments and interpreting test results
• Strong background in providing individual and group counseling
• Good communication and collaboration abilities when working with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability to the demands of an evolving school environment
• Familiarity with best practices for supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:
