School Psychologist - North East, MD

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, making a meaningful impact across two schools in a vibrant educational community near North East, MD. This onsite position offers the chance to support students, collaborate with educators and parents, and help shape a positive learning environment through expertise in psychological assessment and student advocacy.

We are seeking two dedicated professionals to work 35 hours per week during the NSY 26/27 academic year. You will use your skills to identify student needs, recommend interventions, and assist school teams in fostering healthy academic and emotional growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in school settings, preferably across multiple campuses
• Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
• Ability to develop and interpret IEPs, behavioral plans, and assessments
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and recommendations for student support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective interventions
• Offer individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Participate in MTSS/RTI and IEP meetings across two separate school sites
• Contribute to the development of positive behavior support plans and school-wide mental health initiatives
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulations
